The mission of Bitumen Engineering is to provide advanced technical, and at the same time economically efficient solutions for modified bitumen producers both in the refinery, paving and roofing industries.

A complete technology transfer consists of several parts, such as specification development, raw material and process requirements, binder formulation, practical guidelines for installation, economic analysis.
Many countries and regions have no specific standards for modified bitumen. Bitumen Engineering can help determine the right properties and numbers in order to minimize testing cost during quality control.
Improved bituminous binder formulation can lead to material and manufacturing cost savings and/or improved material performance. Based on energy, labor etc prices the optimum performance-price option can be determined.
